This week, the Platania Financial team flew to San Diego for our broker-dealer LPL Financial's annual LPL Focus Conference.
After three days packed with presentations, speakers, and workshops, we returned to the office with a renewed sense of focus and perspective. Here are some takeaways and pictures from the last few days:
Never Underestimate the Power of Connecting with Others
Over 7,000 financial advisors, home-office employees, and industry professionals attended LPL Focus. Having the ability to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and hear how other offices operate allows us to grow as a business and better serve our clients.
Technology Improves the Client Experience
Efficient back-office operations were one of the primary reasons we moved our business to LPL last summer. As we saw first-hand this week, LPL continues to invest in the technology that enables our office to operate.
Through LPL's platforms, we manage and trade investment accounts, request ACH distributions and account transfers, open new accounts, service existing ones, and so much more. It's incredibly refreshing to know that continuously enhancing these platforms remains a top priority for LPL. By making our office more efficient, we're able to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time with clients.
And clients, you'll be happy to hear that a revamped Account View portal and mobile app are scheduled to roll out this fall. Be on the lookout for more details in the coming months!
We're Fortunate to Have Incredible Partners
This week was about our partnership with LPL Financial and what they bring to the table. But it was also a time for us to reflect on why we really attend this conference in the first place. Attending conferences like Focus helps us to better serve the most important partners that we have - our clients, some of which have been with us for over thirty years.
Just as we thanked LPL for hosting us this past week, we want to say thank you to our clients for their trust and continued support and for allowing us to play an important role in their lives.
That's all for now. Until next year!
